Evening Yoga in Gooderham

7:00 PM | Robert McCausland Community Centre, Gooderham

Come join us for Yoga in Gooderham on Wednesday evenings led by Michaela Shaw.  This class is suitable for both Beginners and Intermediate students.  Michaela provides thoughtful instructions that allow students to go at their own pace while building on the basic yoga poses to challenge, stretch, and relax the body and the mind.   Yoga mats and props are provided, but feel free to bring your own and a light blanket or sweater for the guided relaxation part of the class.   

Fee is $10/class.

Classes are held at the Robert McCausland Community Centre EVERY Wednesday from 7pm to 8pm.  Any cancellations due to inclement weather or instructor illness/vacation will be announced on the Gooderham Classifieds Facebook page.  For more information contact info@gooderhamyoga.ca

Evening Pickleball

This event is open to all adults and is a non-competitive social group. Everyone is welcome to join us at the Keith Tallman Memorial Arena in Wilberforce.

There is a small fee of $2.00 each week.

Learn to Curl Open House

6:30 PM | 2449 Loop Road, Wilberforce Curling Club

Come out to the Wilberforce Curling Club for Intro/Learn to Curl Open House sessions on December 7 and 11, 2025.

In person registration for second half curling will take place on on the 11th and registration for 2nd half curling will be open online from December 1 through 18, 2025 on the www.wilberforcecurling.com website.

No charge for these sessions and there will be a free draw for a half season of curling.

Seniors Active Living: Tech Help

Stuck on a tech problem? Our Tech Help Walk-in-Clinic is here to assist you! Come into the library and grab a number, first come, first served. Each person gets a 30-minute session with our staff to tackle one specific technology challenge. One session per person per day.

Just show up and stake your place in line. You may need to wait a bit (sometimes up to a few hours if spots fill early), so plan ahead. It's like a walk-in-clinic for your tech issues.

During your 30-minute session, you'll receive guidance on one specific tech issue, such as setting up or troubleshooting your computer, smartphone, software, apps, or internet connection. Please bring your device(s) and a specific question or issue you need help with. One tech issue per session.

Seniors Active Living: Games!

No registration required, just drop in and find a game to play or bring your own and play with like minded seniors. Bring friends, neighbors or meet someone new!

Santa Comes to Wilberforce and Santa Claus Parade

11:30 AM | Lloyd Watson Centre, Wilberforce

To watch the parade, find a spot along it's route from the school to the Lloyd Watson Centre. The parade begins at 12:30 p.m.

All children 10 and under can register at the door at the Lloyd Watson Centre beginning at 11:30 a.m. to receive a free picture with Santa and a present plus a Candy Bag, Pop and Hotdog! Contact Ruth at rstrong@highlandseast.ca to participate in the parade.
